Severn Trent has said it could be as late as Thursday before work needed due to a burst water pipe on a major Derby road is complete.That means the roundabout where Mansfield Road meets Alfreton Road in Chester Green may not reopen until then.A Severn Trent spokesman said the pipe itself was now fixed but that workmen had come across "a complication".He said that would now not be sorted out until tomorrow and that it would then take another two days to put the road surface back...
