Alfreton Primary Care Centre
The major part of Alfreton’s medical needs are catered to by Alfreton Primary Care Centre which opened in February 2007. The park side site encompasses a surgery with a staff of 8 GPs as well as offering consultations with staff nurses. The Refine Specialist Dental Care centre also operates from here offering general dental, as well as orthodontic, treatments. Other services available in the centre include an onsite pharmacy and antenatal classes.
Outside of this complex the Limes Medical Centre, based on Limes Avenue, also provides a standard GP service to the town.
